Your birthday must be included in your Rewards profile and qualify while the dessert is on the menu. Redeem the reward in the Taco Bell app at a participating U.S. location. No additional purchase is required for the birthday reward; it is not a free dessert for every customer.
The birthday reward lasts 31 days after issuance, but the empanada choice is available only October 15–28. The alternative reward is a regular Baja Blast Freeze. One reward per transaction; no substitutions, upgrades, add-ons, transfers or combining with other offers.
For other customers, the dessert launches October 15 at a suggested $3.49; prices vary, tax is extra and delivery costs more. The earlier email-signup instructions for a general free empanada were incorrect.
