How the Staples freebie works
The promotion runs from July 12 through September 12, 2026. Each week Staples features one free school supply, and you qualify by making any purchase — there is no minimum spend on the standard weekly item. You can claim it in a Staples store or online, and the freebie is limited to one per customer while supplies last.
Why the full 7-week list isn’t posted anywhere
Staples does not announce the whole schedule up front. Its own press release tells shoppers to check back through the season for details on upcoming offers, which means each week’s item becomes public only when that week starts. You may find sites listing all seven weeks in advance — those lists are predictions based on previous years, and we have seen them disagree with each other on dates.
