Savings tips & price context

Even without the Companion Pass, Southwest’s low‑fare structure often beats legacy carriers. Compare the total cost of two tickets with and without the pass to see the full benefit. If you’re flexible with travel dates, book during Southwest’s “Sale Your Way” promotions for additional fare reductions. Pairing a sale fare with the free Companion Pass maximizes savings.
