Updated August 28, 2026
Staples is offering a limited‑time promotion for its Rewards members that effectively makes luggage up to $250 free. The deal applies to any qualifying suitcase, carry‑on, or travel bag that meets the program’s criteria.
The deal
Eligible items include popular brands and a range of sizes, so shoppers can pick the perfect travel companion without breaking the bank.
Why we like it
The savings come from earning 100% of the purchase amount back in Staples Rewards points. Once you buy the luggage, the points are credited within 30 days and can be redeemed at checkout, turning the full purchase price into a free item. This is a substantial benefit for anyone looking to upgrade their travel gear without spending extra cash.
Key features
The promotion is ideal for frequent travelers, students heading back to school, or families planning vacations. By joining the free Staples Rewards program, users gain access to this and other point‑earning opportunities, making it a smart choice for budget‑conscious shoppers who still want quality luggage.
Who it's for
To take advantage of the offer, simply join Staples Rewards at no cost, then purchase any eligible luggage in‑store, online, or through the Staples app before October 11. After the purchase, the 100% points will be added to your account, ready to be applied toward future orders, effectively covering the cost of the bag.
Bottom line
Keep in mind that the deal is limited to purchases up to $250 and only applies to qualifying luggage items. Points are awarded within 30 days, and the promotion ends on October 11, so act quickly. The offer does not require a coupon code, but you must be a Rewards member to receive the free‑luggage benefit.
