Macy’s Free Kids’ Events: Lightning McQueen October 16 and LEGO Giraffe October 17
Toys “R” Us at select Macy’s stores is hosting two free kids’ activities on October 16–17, 2026, as part of Geoffrey’s birthday celebration. Plan for a different activity each day, and check your store before leaving home.
Friday, October 16: free Gold Lightning McQueen
From 4–6 p.m., kids can receive a Gold Lightning McQueen die-cast car. Macy’s confirms that no purchase is required for this giveaway.
A separate promotion offers a free Hot Wheels Halloween car with a $25 purchase of Hot Wheels, Matchbox or Pixar Cars. That purchase requirement applies to the Hot Wheels bonus, not the free Lightning McQueen giveaway.
Saturday, October 17: LEGO giraffe build
From noon–2 p.m., children can build an exclusive LEGO giraffe to take home and enjoy coloring activities.
