Extra 50% Off Clearance at Kohl’s: One-Week Event October 19–25

Clear a spot in the closet. Starting Monday, October 19, Kohl’s is taking an extra 50% off clearance in store and online, and the event runs through Sunday, October 25, 2026. The yellow clearance tags are already marked down as much as 70%, and this week’s extra 50% comes off that lower price. No code to type, no coupon to clip: the discount is taken at checkout.

Kohl’s extra 50% off clearance at a glance

• Discount: an extra 50% off clearance items that are already reduced (look for the yellow tags).
• Dates: Monday, October 19 through Sunday, October 25, 2026.
• Where: Kohl’s stores and Kohls.com. Store selection and clearance pricing vary by location.
• Code: none needed. The extra 50% is applied at checkout.

Why this week is worth the trip

Kohl’s clearance is normally a decent hunt on its own. Stacking an extra 50% on top is about as low as the yellow tags go, and it lands right as fall and Halloween merchandise gets marked down and holiday toy stock starts filling the aisles. Here is what the math looks like on a typical tag:

• A $40 kids’ hoodie on the clearance rack at $12 drops to $6.
• A $100 comforter set marked to $30 drops to $15.
• A $25 Halloween decor piece marked to $7.50 drops to $3.75.

The extra 50% comes off the clearance price printed on the tag, not the original price, so the examples above are the deals you will actually see at the register.

What to hunt for first

• Kids’ clothes and shoes. Sizes thin out fast at this discount, so grab the next size up for spring while you are there.
• Fall and Halloween decor. Mid-October is when seasonal pieces hit clearance, and the extra 50% makes them nearly free to stash for next year.
• Bedding, towels and kitchen. Kohl’s house brands such as The Big One and Sonoma Goods for Life are regulars on the clearance racks.
• Toys. Clearance toys at an extra 50% off are an easy way to get a head start on holiday gifts.
• Women’s and men’s basics. Tees, sweaters and sleepwear are usually the deepest part of the apparel clearance.

How to stack more savings at Kohl’s

1. Join Kohl’s Rewards. It is free, and purchases earn Kohl’s Cash you can spend on a later trip.
2. Check the week’s Kohl’s coupon. Kohl’s usually posts a new sitewide percent-off code each week. Clearance is often coupon-eligible, but every coupon lists its own exclusions, so read the details before you count on it.
3. Watch for a Kohl’s Card offer. Cardholders regularly get their own extra-percent-off event. The last one ran through October 18, so keep an eye out for the next one during clearance week.
4. Use free store pickup. Kohls.com orders under the free-shipping minimum can be picked up in store at no charge, which keeps a $6 hoodie a $6 hoodie.

Tips before you go

• Shop early in the week. The best sizes and the nicest home pieces are gone by the weekend.
• The price on the yellow tag is the clearance price. Halve it in your head to know what you will pay.
• Online, filter by Clearance and sort by price to surface the deepest markdowns first.
• Kohl’s standard return policy applies to clearance purchases. Check your receipt or Kohls.com for the return window on the items you buy.
