Here’s a lineup of Michaels’ free craft events in stores for January and February 2026.
Sunday, January 4: Winter Painting Makebreak – Unleash your creativity with a fun winter-themed painting! Just purchase the base canvas, and all other supplies are provided for free.
January 11: Kids Club – Beaded Rainbow Keychain
Bring the kids for a fun, free activity! They’ll get to create a bright and cheerful rainbow keychain to take home.
Sunday, January 18: Makebreak – Fabric Bracelets
Get creative at our bracelet-making event! Simply bring the fabric of your choice, and we’ll provide all the other materials you need to craft your unique bracelet.
January 25: Kids Club – Yarn Painting
Bring your little ones to your local store for a free kids crafting event! Kids will have fun “painting” with yarn to create adorable shapes and characters. All materials are provided at no cost.
Sunday, February 1: Valentine’s Pollock Painting Makebreak
Come create a heart-themed Pollock painting in-store! Simply grab your canvas, and Michaels will supply all the remaining materials at no extra cost.
February 7: Kids Club – Valentine’s Card Craft
Join us for a fun, free activity for kids! We’ll be creating adorable Valentine’s Day cards, and all materials are provided at no cost.
February 8: Sunday Makebreak – Valentine’s Mason Jar
Get creative in-store by decorating a mason jar for Valentine’s Day! Simply buy the mason jar, and Michaels will supply all the paints and materials at no extra cost.
February 14 – Kids Club: Valentine’s Keychain
Join us for a free, kid-friendly event! Kids will get to create adorable heart-shaped keychains using colorful pony beads. All materials are provided at no cost.
February 15: Sunday Makebreak – Spring Charm Bracelet

February 21: Kids Club – Chenille Stem Spring Flowers
Join us for a fun, free kids’ activity! Children will get creative using chenille stems to craft a charming spring flower bouquet. All materials are provided at no cost.
Sunday, February 22 – Makebreak: Paper Butterfly Brooch

February 28 – Kids Club: Spring Beaded Butterflies
Join us for a fun, free kids’ event! Children will create adorable butterflies using pony beads and chenille stems. All materials are provided at no cost.
