Game Day Food Deals: Cleveland $2 McNuggets and San Diego Jumbo Jack Timing
The new DealsFinders game-day artwork highlights two regional restaurant offers: $2 for 10-piece Chicken McNuggets in Northeast Ohio and a free Jumbo Jack with a large drink purchase in the San Diego area. Check the date carefully: the San Diego reward tied to the latest qualifying game has already passed its normal next-day window.
Cleveland: check for $2 McNuggets on October 9
The artwork directs customers to the McDonald’s app at participating Northeast Ohio locations. The Guardians’ sponsor page supports the promotion: a stolen base triggers the next day’s $2 10-piece offer.
MLB records a Cleveland steal on October 8. That makes October 9 the expected redemption day, subject to the offer appearing for your restaurant and account. Open the app, select your local restaurant, find the reward and review its expiration and final price before ordering. Individual account availability has not been tested.
San Diego: previous Jumbo Jack redemption window ended
The artwork lists GOPADRES26 in the Jack app, a large drink purchase and participating San Diego-area locations. The Padres’ partner page confirms the home-run promotion.
Date correction: the qualifying Padres home run was October 7, making the next-day reward October 8. That window has ended. The October 9 artwork’s reference to a home run “yesterday” should not be treated as proof of an active October 9 reward.
If your Jack app displays a separate extension, read its dates and confirm the burger discount before buying the required drink. An extension has not been verified. The drink is a paid requirement, so this is not a completely free meal.
These are local promotions, not nationwide offers. Participation, availability, taxes and app terms may affect redemption. The original artwork remains above for reference.
