We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is a two‑day shopping event that runs on October 6 and 7, 2026. Prime members can expect discounts across more than 35 categories, ranging from electronics to home goods.
The deal
The event kicks off at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and runs until 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, giving shoppers a full 48‑hour window to snag deals.
Why we like it
During the event, Amazon will release new deals at three key times each day: midnight, 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT.
Key features
These drop times are separate from the overall start time, so checking the schedule can help you catch fresh discounts as they appear. Prime members also receive a special $20.xx off Grubhub orders of $30.xx or more when they use the code DEALS20 , valid from September 14 through October 5.
Who it's for
The $20.xx discount is especially valuable for those who frequently order meals through Grubhub, as it effectively reduces the cost of a typical dinner for two. With Grubhub+ already included for Prime members, the extra savings make the promotion a compelling reason to shop during the event. This deal is ideal for busy families, young professionals, and anyone looking to stretch their food budget while enjoying convenient delivery.
Worth knowing
To take advantage of the savings, Prime members should verify the promotion in their account settings, ensuring the code is activated and the order meets the $30.xx minimum. The discount applies to eligible orders, but excluded charges such as taxes, fees, and tips are not covered. It’s important to confirm the discount before finalizing payment to avoid any surprises.
Bottom line
The Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event is exclusively available online, so you can shop from the comfort of your home. Be aware that the $20.xx off Grubhub offer expires on October 5, so plan your meals early to maximize the benefit. Supplies are limited, and the deal ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, so act quickly to secure the savings.
