It’s not Halloween without seeing It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! at least once! So get your popcorn (and pumpkin carving kits) ready, since this cherished classic will be making a comeback this year after a devastating absence from the networks in 2020.

Charlie Brown’s Neighborhood Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang enjoy Halloween and wait for the Great Pumpkin to emerge from the pumpkin patch in this Halloween film. It’s one of the most beloved Halloween films of all time, and if you haven’t seen it yet, now is the time!

This year, Apple and PBS have teamed up to broadcast an ad-free version of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Unfortunately, neither the PBS.org website nor the PBS App will be able to broadcast this. You may still watch it on PBS and PBS KIDS on October 24th at 7:30 / 6:30C p.m.!

Don’t worry if your cable company doesn’t carry the PBS KIDS channel. It’s still available on YouTube TV.

It appears that just PBS and PBS KIDS will be streaming this. For just one night, it’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, but with an Apple TV subscription, you can watch it whenever you want!

And maybe this isn’t the only collaboration between Apple and PBS in 2021! While the Charlie Brown Halloween movie was not shown last year, they did team up to offer us A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas! We’re in full Christmas mode, so perhaps we’ll be treated to those oldies again this year.
