Atleast millions of people got already got thir stimulus check, but many of us are not received the third stimulus yet.

It can be super worrying if your friends got the stimulus check and you are not :(. But no need to worry if you are eligible to get the stimulus check.

Here’s what you need to know if you haven’t yet received your American Rescue Plan stimulus check.

Step 1 : Check first if you are eligible for the check

The government will give $1,400 to every adult and dependent, as long as you make $75,000 or less.

A single person who makes over $75,000/year would see their $1,400 check reduced by $1 for every additional $5 they make, with people making $80,000 or more receiving no stimulus payment at all. (Heads of households making $120,000+ or married couples making $160,000+ won’t get checks, either.

The IRS has once again set up their Get My Payment page, where enter your Social Security number, birth date, address, and zip code to get the status of your payment.

If you get a “Payment Status – Not Available” message, don’t worry; that just means they haven’t processed your payment yet. They’re super bogged down right now and are experiencing delays.

Please don’t call the IRS; they’re using the same info as IRS.gov, and it’ll just waste your time. And only check the site once a day; they only update the page early every morning.

If you didn’t have direct deposit set up, your payments likely haven’t been processed yet.

The first wave of payments have gone to people who had direct deposit set up with the IRS.

For everyone else, that means you’ll be receiving the payment via a mailed paper check or a mailed prepaid debit card.

The paper checks haven’t even been mailed out yet — they’re expected to start March 22 — and the debit cards will be processed a week afterward.

Are you a Social Security beneficiary, the payment might take even longer.

The IRS hasn’t announced a date for when Social Security and other federal beneficiaries will receive their payment, but they promised one is coming soon.

And when it does, it’ll arrive in the same form that regular benefits are paid.

Your tax refund might be delayed because of all of this.

The IRS is knee-deep in it right now, with the economic payments happening in the midst of tax season, and plenty of taxpayers are experiencing delays in receiving their tax refunds.

Because of all these reasons, the IRS pushed Tax Filing Last Day back from April 15 to May 17.
