Macy’s Stores Hosting 9-Day ToysRUs Kids Event Including Freebies (10/15-10/23)
In celebration of the grand opening of ToysRus, Macy’s will host 9 days of in-store events from October 15 through October 23. There will be family-friendly activities, freebies, and giveaways from top toy brands like Barbie, Fisher Price, Play-Doh, and Pokemon! Each location has limited quantities, so there is no need to purchase.
1. Saturday, Oct. 15: Barbie Day
Bring your kids to Macy’s for a free Barbie activity. Then, enter a special giveaway themed with the event to win free prizes.
2. Sunday, Oct. 16: Fisher-Price Day
Your kids can fine-tune those building skills during Fisher-Price Day at your local Macy’s. They can build and decorate a Little People House, plus get a free Fisher-Price toy to take home!
3. Monday, Oct. 17: Geoffrey’s Birthday
Happy Birthday, Geoffrey! Join Toys R Us at Macy’s to celebrate Geoffrey’s latest rotation around the sun. Kids who attend will get a picture frame and can enter giveaways to win Disney and LEGO toys.
4. Tuesday, Oct. 18: National Geographic STEM Day
Bring your little scientists in-store and they’ll get a free mini Fool’s Gold Kit. They can excavate their own gem and bring it home.
5. Wednesday, Oct. 19: Rainbow Loom Day
Your kids can get their arts and crafts on with Rainbow Loom Day on Oct. 19. At this in-store event, kids can make free Rainbow Loom bracelets to take home or trade.
6. Thursday, Oct. 20: Play-Doh Day
On Thursday, Oct. 20, Macy’s lets kids come in and play with Play-Doh sets to make some imaginative creations. They will also get entered into giveaways for the chance to win free stuff.
7. Friday, Oct. 21: Pokemon Day
Friday, Oct. 21, is Pokemon Day at Toys R Us for Macy’s. Kids will get a free pack of Pokemon cards they can “Trade and Play” at the event.
8. Saturday, Oct. 22: Lego Day
It’s Lego day at the Toys R Us Birthday party. This means you can bring the little ones to play with, you guessed it, LEGO play sets. Throughout the day, there will be giveaways where kids can win LEGOs for free.
9. Sunday, Oct. 23: LOL Surprise! Day
LOL Surprise is the last day of the celebration! Day. Kids can color in activity pages in their local Macy’s store and enter free giveaways all day.
Upon entering Toys “R” Us inside Macy’s, customers will be welcomed by Geoffrey the Giraffe. Visit a toy store in person for your child to see and play with toys, take photos with Geoffrey the Giraffe, or simply enjoy the excitement.
