The CDC does provide free children’s board books in both English and Spanish. Their “Act Early” program includes them, and its goal is to assist families in identifying and supporting their children who have developmental problems.

These are the books that are available for free.

Un día ocupado del bebé, often known as Baby’s Busy Day, is a book that chronicles a baby’s day and highlights significant developmental stages.

Where is bear? ¿Dónde Está Osito? is an interactive book that invites kids to look for Bear and use basic phrases like “up,” “down,” and “behind.”

Amazing Me (Soy Maravilloso): This board book covers the fundamental body parts while highlighting each child’s special features.

The CDC website offers free PDF downloads of all three volumes in both English and Spanish: https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/actearly/pdf/booklets/Milestone-Moments-Booklet_Reader_508.pdf

The CDC is not currently accepting orders for printed copies. On the other hand, the public health agency or your local library could have them.
