Home Depot is known for hosting fun and FREE Kids Workshops! Due to the Coronavirus pandemic has eliminated the in-store events, but you can still snag a kit for free!

In place of the kid’s workshops, many Home Depot stores across the country are handing out FREE Kids Workshop Kits at the beginning of each month so kiddos can enjoy their projects at home.

This month’s project is a fun Fire Chief Car! You will need to supply your wood glue, fine sandpaper, and a hammer. Home Depot even provides easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions and a video to help your child create this item available online.

Want to take the learning further? Check out the workshop extensions they offer! For October, the workshop extension challenges kids to learn more about their neighborhood by designing a map the ‘fire chief’ would use to navigate their area!
