Chuck E. Cheese Celebrates World Autism Month (PRNewsfoto/Chuck E. Cheese)

On Sunday, April 30, Chuck E. Cheese will hold a nationwide Sensory Sensitive Sunday celebration at all 460 of its locations to honor World Autism Month. This program, which is now in its sixth year, gives children with autism and other sensory problems a quieter dining and arcade experience.

For kids who prefer a calmer environment, Chuck E. Cheese operates two hours earlier on Sensory Sensitive Sundays with dimmer lights and reduced sound. Every visitor’s visit is made safe and enjoyable by a properly trained crew.

A month-long fundraising event for Autism Speaks, a non-profit devoted to making the world more inclusive for those with autism, will be held at Chuck E. Cheese in April.

The business intends to contribute a portion of their cotton candy and April Online Shop sales to Autism Speaks. Customers who shop in-person, online, or through an app can additionally round up their purchases to benefit Autism Speaks.
