A partnership between Macy’s and Toys “R” Us was announced in August of 2021.
Aside from giving Toys “R” Us a new online home, Macy’s has been launching Toys “R” Us shop-in-shops across the country. Macy’s will officially open Toys”R”Us stores nationwide on October 15, according to this press release.
In celebration of the grand opening, Macy’s will host 9 days of in-store events from October 15 through October 23. There will be family-friendly activities, freebies, and giveaways from top toy brands like Barbie, Fisher Price, Play-Doh, and Pokemon! Each location has limited quantities, so there is no need to purchase.
Upon entering Toys “R” Us inside Macy’s, customers will be welcomed by Geoffrey the Giraffe. Visit a toy store in person for your child to see and play with toys, take photos with Geoffrey the Giraffe, or simply enjoy the excitement.
